Spinal Mobilization

When back or neck stiffness makes standing, bending or sitting uncomfortable, spinal mobilization offers a gentle, hands-on way to restore movement without forceful adjustments.

A gentler way to restore spinal movement.

Spinal mobilization uses gentle, rhythmic movements and gradual, controlled pressure on spinal joints to encourage natural motion. Unlike spinal manipulation, which uses quick, high-velocity thrusts, mobilization lets tissues adapt at a comfortable pace.

It may be a good fit if you have chronic back or neck pain, spinal stiffness or restricted movement, need a gentler option because of osteoporosis or arthritis, are recovering from spinal surgery or an injury, or simply prefer to avoid high-force adjustments.

Signs spinal mobilization may help.

Each session is adjusted to your comfort level and medical needs.

Chronic Back Pain

Ongoing back pain that makes standing, bending or sitting uncomfortable.

Neck Stiffness

A stiff neck that limits how far you can turn or tilt your head.

Restricted Movement

Spinal joints that feel locked up or limit everyday motion.

Arthritis or Osteoporosis

Age-related spinal changes where a gentler technique is preferred.

Post-Surgical Recovery

Recovering from spinal surgery or injury and needing controlled, gradual care.

Prefer No Thrusts

Wanting relief without the quick thrust or “crack” of a traditional adjustment.

Gentle, controlled and tailored to you.

We start with a thorough assessment of your spinal health, mobility, pain levels, joint function, muscle balance and posture. During treatment, we identify restricted spinal joints, apply gentle manual techniques to improve mobility and reduce stiffness, and release muscle tension that contributes to poor posture and pain.

Alongside hands-on care, stabilization exercises and movement training can help strengthen supporting muscles, correct imbalanced movement patterns and support long-term spinal health.

No referral needed. Most commercial plans, including Medicare, accepted. Some services are offered at select clinics.

Each session builds on the last.
