Headache Relief

Tension headaches, migraines and neck-related headaches can interfere with work, sleep and everyday life. Medication may offer temporary relief; our goal is to address what may be triggering them.

Many headaches start in the neck and shoulders.

Muscle tension, poor posture and joint dysfunction in the neck and shoulders are common contributors to headaches. Our care aims to release tight muscles, improve posture, restore movement in the cervical spine and correct the muscle imbalances that can keep headaches coming back.

This approach may help with tension headaches, migraines worsened by neck tension, cervicogenic headaches that originate in the neck, and chronic headaches that haven’t improved with medication alone. It can also complement medication and other care you’re already receiving.

Your first visit includes an assessment of muscle tension and joint function in the neck and shoulders, posture and spinal alignment, neck mobility and strength, and the lifestyle and ergonomic factors that may be contributing.

Your plan may include chiropractic adjustments, hands-on soft tissue work to ease muscle tightness, exercises to strengthen the neck and shoulders, postural correction, and guidance on ergonomics and stress management to help prevent future headaches.
