Review & Assessment
Your visit begins with a discussion of your health concerns, symptoms, medications and medical history, followed by a physical assessment when appropriate.
Your Care Plan
Your nurse practitioner discusses possible causes of your symptoms, may recommend diagnostic testing or screenings, and develops an individualized treatment plan. Prescribing depends on the provider’s credentials and state regulations.
Follow-Up & Coordination
You receive lifestyle and preventive guidance, plus follow-up care. If your condition calls for specialized or higher-level care, your NP can help coordinate an appropriate referral.
