Focused acoustic waves, aimed where you need them.
PiezoWave Pain Treatment is an acoustic compression therapy. A specialized therapy source delivers focused acoustic waves through a thin layer of coupling gel into targeted areas of soft tissue, creating a deep therapeutic sensation.
Your clinician moves the therapy source across the treatment area and adjusts the intensity to the location being treated and your comfort. Treatment is performed externally, without needles, injections or surgery.
What happens during a PiezoWave session.
Identify the Treatment Area
Your clinician assesses where you feel discomfort and which areas may benefit from treatment. Treatment locations can be documented to guide future sessions.
Gel & Gradual Intensity
A thin layer of coupling gel is applied to the skin. Treatment starts at a low intensity and is gradually adjusted to a level that is appropriate and comfortable for you.
Targeted Treatment & Aftercare
You may feel deep pressure or a dull ache as the therapy source moves across the area. Afterward, most people can resume normal activities, though temporary tenderness, aching or redness may occur.
